Location is used only to help show and sort nearby food options. Exact browser location is requested only after you choose to share it.
How location works
The site may use an approximate IP-based area supplied by its Cloudflare hosting service to show nearby homepage examples and preload nearby Finder results. Your IP address is not sent to a separate location-lookup company for this feature, and the approximate lookup does not choose or display your location.
In the Finder, approximate coordinates may be stored in this browser for up to 24 hours. Exact browser location may be kept in session storage for up to 30 minutes and is used to sort nearby resources. ZIP searches use the ZIP center.
Bookmarks
Saved programs, next steps, notes, completion status, target dates and Career Profiler questionnaire progress are stored in your browser on this device. They are not uploaded to an account or sent to the project maintainer. Clearing browser storage removes them.
Correction reports
Correction and visitor reports are sent only for moderation and follow-up. Written comments and contact information are never displayed publicly.
What reports store and for how long
A submitted report can include the page or resource name, report type, report details, optional observation date and optional contact information. It may be stored in the site's Cloudflare database and is automatically removed after 180 days.
For two factual visit categories — unexpectedly closed/not distributing and a listed food or service being unavailable — the site may temporarily show only a neutral structured notice that a recent visitor report was received. Those public signals use reports from the last 60 days and never show the reporter's words, name or contact information.
Advertising, referrals and personal data
No advertisements, paid rankings or sponsored results. Some clearly identified links may be referral links that can provide a signup reward or support the project; referral relationships do not change which options are recommended or how they are ranked. The project does not sell personal information.
Third-party services
Official links, Google Maps directions and map tiles may connect to outside services governed by their own privacy policies. Approximate area lookup is handled by the site’s Cloudflare hosting service rather than a separate IP-location provider.
