Eligibility
Low-income Nassau County households. Exact eligibility depends on household circumstances; households with a person age 60+ or permanently disabled do not have to meet the gross monthly income test.
What to bring
Bring or upload the application and any identity, household, income, resource and expense documents requested by DSS.
Requirements
Submit an application and complete an eligibility interview. DSS may request documents to verify household, income, resources and expenses. Expedited SNAP also requires an interview.
