Start here: Contact the OPWDD Front Door and begin the eligibility/orientation process; gather diagnostic and functional documentation if available.
Eligibility: OPWDD must determine developmental-disability eligibility. Many ongoing services also require Medicaid and, for certain home- and community-based services, waiver enrollment.

The Front Door helps people begin OPWDD eligibility review, learn about available supports and move into person-centered service planning if eligible.
Benefit: Access to eligibility review and, if approved, planning for supports that can include residential, employment, community, respite and other developmental-disability services.
