Get $450 a Year for College After a Parent’s Military Service!
The NYS Regents Award for Children of Deceased and Disabled Veterans is a recurring scholarship for qualifying students whose parent served during specified wars or national emergencies and died, became disabled, went missing or was a prisoner of war as a result of service.
Who
Eligible students whose qualifying veteran parent died, suffered a service-related disability of 40% or more, was missing in action or was a prisoner of war under the program's service-period rules.

Eligibility: The student must meet HESC residency/citizenship or DREAM Act rules and attend an approved undergraduate program in New York. The veteran must meet the specified service and outcome requirements.
