NYC's HIV/AIDS Services Administration (HASA) provides case management and access to housing, rental assistance, benefits and other services for NYC residents diagnosed with HIV or AIDS.

Eligibility: NYC residency and an HIV/AIDS diagnosis are required to establish HASA eligibility. Since 2016, clinically symptomatic HIV is no longer required.
What you get
HASA can coordinate Medicaid, SNAP, cash assistance, emergency/transitional housing, non-emergency housing, rental assistance, home care, transportation and other supports.
Benefit: Access to a specialized benefits and housing system, including rental assistance when eligible.
